Implemented as part of the sixth phase of the multi-year program entitled “Government Program for Improving Safety and Working Conditions,” financed within the scope of state services’ tasks by the Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Policy.

Project No. PP-16/2023/PW-PN: Customization of the Design Process for Advanced Personal Protective Equipment – ​​a New Generation of Anti Impact Suit and Uniform Components for Police Units Operating in Areas of High Risk to Health and Life – Acronym: ARES

Program Coordinator: Central Institute for Labor Protection – National Research InstituteThe aim of the project was to develop customized components of personal protective equipment for police officers performing operational tasks in high-risk environments. Research and development work included:

  • a new forearm protector as part of the anti impact suit,
  • tactical shirts (for men and women) as part of the uniform.
