The anniversary scientific conference – a continuation of the series “Management and Command of Human Resources in an Organization” – took place on 26, November, 2025, at the Police Academy in Szczytno. Employees of the Institute of Security Technologies MORATEX had the pleasure of presenting the practical application of their proprietary VR application “Ergonomics.” This tool allows for the effective use of modern technologies in the testing and evaluation of personal equipment. As part of the close collaboration between the Police Academy and ITB MORATEX, a newly developed torso protection model (ballistic vest) intended for uniformed services (including prison services, security guards, and municipal guards) was validated.

The study involved users who underwent a multi-stage testing procedure. The developed research methodology combines two environments: a virtual environment, where tests are conducted on a VR treadmill (simulation of operational tasks and assessment of freedom of movement), and a real environment, where exercise tests are conducted on a sports treadmill (physiological assessment and user comfort under load).

This hybrid approach to research allowed us to obtain comprehensive data on the product’s functionality and ergonomics in a safe and controlled environment.
