The 17th National PACTT Conference took place on April 7-8, 2025 in Krakow. For two days, the Faculty of Chemistry of the Jagiellonian University turned into a center for the exchange of information on the commercialization of science.

On the part of the Institute of Security Technologies MORATEX, the Technology Transfer Department representatives appeared at the conference. Thanks to this, we had the opportunity to exchange experiences with representatives of other universities and institutions, as well as meet with consortium members of the Science4Business project.

During numerous lectures, many issues related to the commercialization of science, the place of technology transfers in this process, challenges facing universities and institutions. Among other things, attention was drawn to the discrepancy between the market need and the product and the importance of close cooperation with the research team from the very beginning, and not only in the final phase of commercialization; or systemic problems in the form of complicated procedures, higher scoring of publications than commercialization.

The regional partner of this edition was the Technology Transfer Center CITTRU UJ.
