On 3-4, March, 2026, a meeting of the EDA CapTech Materials and Structures expert group took place in Genoa, Italy. On behalf of the Institute of Security Technologies “MORATEX”, the conference was attended by Paweł Kubiak PhD, Eng., Coordinator for International Cooperation.
During the meeting, current activities within the EDA (European Defence Agency) and guidelines related to planned European projects in the field of defence and defense were discussed. A workshop on Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) technologies for defence platforms was also held. SHM technologies are advanced systems for continuous, real-time monitoring of the safety and integrity of structures.
