On June 18-20, 2024, a meeting of the Consortium Members and the User Observatory Group of the PreventPCP project (https://prevent-pcp.eu/) was held in Genoa, Italy. The Institute of Security Technologies “MORATEX” was represented by Dr. Eng. Paweł Kubiak, employee of the Design Department and Coordinator for International Cooperation. During the meeting, the current state of work on two demonstrators of monitoring solutions using AI algorithms to detect potential danger in the form of abandoned luggage and other suspicious behavior within sample public facilities was presented. The solutions developed as part of the PreventPCP project are to be implemented on the occasion of the upcoming Olympic Games in France in selected public facilities in Paris. During the meeting in Italy, the current status of the project was discussed and the work plan for the coming weeks was presented. It was one of the last stationary meetings before the end of the PreventPCP project. The next stationary meeting concluding the project is planned for September this year in Austria.
At the same time, we would like to remind you and encourage you to take part in a publicly available survey dedicated to technological, legal and standardization aspects of the project. Link to the survey:
