During the Euromat 2025 congress, the team consisting of Marzena Fejdyś, Paulina Dmowska–Jasek, Marek Klich, and Emilia Góreczna-Skrzyńska presented a talk titled HYBRID BALLISTIC HELMET MADE IN A ONE-STEP PRESSING PROCESS.
The presentation by Ms. Emilia Góreczna-Skrzyńska attracted significant interest from the conference participants.
The concept behind the research was based on the thesis that a stable combination of two types of fibrous materials—differing in structure, topography, and polymer type (a developed composition of para-aramid and polyethylene fibers)—would enhance ballistic resistance while reducing the weight of the final products.
The research was conducted in collaboration with PSO MASKPOL SA as part of the project “Hybrid combat helmet reducing the risk of head injuries”, under the Smart Growth Operational Programme 2014–2020, agreement number: POIR.01.01.01-00-1293/20-00, and co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.
