On 10-11, March, 2026, a conference dedicated to the EU grant program dedicated to defense and security: European Defense Fund 2026: EDF 2026 InfoDays was held in Brussels, Belgium. This is the main event discussing the EDF project competition guidelines for 2026.

On behalf of the Institute of Security Technologies MORATEX, Paweł Kubiak PhD, Eng. participated in the conference, while Dr. Sylwia Kotarba PhD, Eng. and Stefan Cichosz PhD, Eng. also participated online.

During the two days, the main principles of the EDF program were presented, statistics from previous years, competition topics announced in 2026, methods of project financing and settlement were discussed, and a discussion space was created for entities interested in building consortia.
