On 2-3 April 2025, another edition of the European Defence Fund Info Days conference took place in Brussels, constituting the main information event on European EDF projects in the area of ​​security. The event is organised by the European Defence Agency (EDA) of the European Commission, which assigns and discusses competition topics for projects in the area of ​​defence and security.

The conference gathered many representatives of the world of science and industry looking for partners for international project consortia in the field of defence and security. The Institute of Securities Technology “MORATEX” was represented by Paweł Kubiak PhD, Eng. from the Design Department. The conference was also attended by representatives of Polish and foreign scientific units and entrepreneurs.

During the event, the main principles of the EDF programme, statistics from previous years, individual competition topics of the Programme, methods of financing and settling projects were discussed. The entire process of creating projects was discussed: aspects related to building consortia, defining the topic, preparing the substantive scope of the application and administrative documents; ending with a discussion of the procedure after the funding has been awarded: preparing the Grant Agreement, document management and reporting of work.
