On 27th May 2025, representatives of the Design Department of the Institute of Security Technologies MORATEX took part in a meeting aimed at familiarizing themselves with the most advanced system for assessing burns on a natural scale.

The Thermo-Man® unit provides simulated exposure conditions for flash fire exposure, and sensors record the increase in temperature on the surface of the mannequin. The computer calculates the expected body surface, degree and location of the expected burn. This data can help in designing clothing and testing the effectiveness of EPI clothing. Thanks to the meeting, we had the opportunity to expand our knowledge of new solutions in the area of ​​personal protection and participate in fire resistance tests.
